Jeremy Corbyn’s son Tommy called stage and TV actress Tracy Ann Oberman a “nasty troll” after she mocked his father on Twitter.

The Labour leader’s youngest son and Oberman clashed on Saturday after she posted images of his father with Shadow Attorney General Shami Chakrabarti at the Park Theatre, where she is performing in a production of Mother of Him.

The Labour leader sits on the advisory board of north London’s Park Theatre, alongside MP David Lammy, actor Ian McKellen and Childline founder Dame Esther Rantzen.

The EastEnders actress quipped on Friday that she was being “trolled at my own workplace,” adding the following day: “This is STILL making me laugh.”

Tommy replied: “You nasty troll. My dad has been a friend and supporter of the @ParkTheatre since it opened in 2013 and helped in setting it up.

“The fact you think your presence is even worthy of a second thought is laughable.”

Oberman, a frequent critic of the Labour leader’s handling of the antisemitism row, received an avalanche of angry responses from online users.

In a series of tweets, she criticised Tommy’s response and accused him of setting “his outrider horror army on me” because he “didn’t like my jokey pic.”

Tommy Corbyn was approached for comment but did not immediately reply.
