About the role

Are you an ambitious self-starter looking to take on the next exciting challenge in your career? Have you got strong experience in marketing and sales?

We have a fabulous opportunity to join us as Community & Family Liaison Lead, which is a newly created role supporting in the admissions for Nightingale House and Hammerson House. You’ll be key in the successful opening of our brand new 116 capacity care and nursing home in North London.

Supporting the organisation to maintain its CQC Outstanding rating, you will engage with variety of groups and organisations within the Jewish Community to support new residents into the home.

A newly created role supporting in the admissions for Nightingale House and Hammerson House (due to open in 2021), South and North London. The successful candidate will engage with a variety of groups and organisations within the Jewish Community. The ideal candidate will have some marketing, promotions and sales skills. Engage with individuals, synagogues, groups, and organisations within the Jewish
community and general community, particularly in North London to promote admission to Nightingale Hammerson homes and initially particular Hammerson House. Facilitate the admissions process of potential residents to Nightingale Hammerson care homes by guiding them through the admissions process.
Liaise with other teams across both Nightingale and Hammerson to facilitate a smooth admission into life in a home. Support residents and their families and advocates with a range of non-clinical issues.

About us

Nightingale Hammerson, an award winning and CQC rated Outstanding elderly care home, prides itself in providing relationship centred care. Offering residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care, we provide a ‘home from home’ for our 160 residents. In 2021, we will be opening a second home in NW London accommodating 116 residents in our new state of the art home following a £40M build project.

Qualifications, Skills and experience

As a Community & Family Liaison Lead, you’ll have/be the following:

  • Experience of working with older people.
  • Experience of working in a customer care or customer focused role.
  • Experience of working in a local authority social service team.
  • Experience of networking and promotion.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of Jewish community organisations including synagogues particularly in North London.
  • Knowledge of networks of local NHS Services, GP’s, hospitals etc who can act as “refers”/”influencers”.
  • Knowledge of funding in the older adult care sector.
