The Jewish Schools Awards, organised by this newspaper and Partnerships for Jewish Schools, has reached its fifth year – the (literally) old-school term for Year 11.
It seems like only yesterday our awards were the new kid in class, unsure of its place, in a blazer two sizes too large, struggling to redo its tie after PE. Now the event is a perennial, much-loved showpiece in the academic year.
We’ve celebrated and championed hundreds of teachers since in 2016 and 2020 promises to be bigger and more ambitious than ever, with awards for those inspiring and innovating in secular and Jewish studies in primary and secondary categories.
