VIDEO: Comedian Simon Brodkin pranks Sepp Blatter with fake cash
FIFA’s president walked out of a press conference after comedian Simon Brodkin’s latest stunt, which saw him throwing fake cash over the Football chief.
Brodkin – who’s stage name is Lee Nelson – entered the press conference, approached Blatter, and announced he was the North Korea 2026 World Cup bid delegate, before showering the beleaguered FIFA president with fake cash.
The comedian was removed by security guards, whilst Blatter said “we have to clear this away. This has nothing to do with football.” The fake money was then cleared away.
The comedian has become known for his various stunts over the years, including when he made his way on stage during the Glastonbury festival during hip-hop artist Kanye West’s performance
