Pollack wins Israel’s first medal at judo world championships
Golan Pollack won a bronze on Tuesday at the world judo championships – and in doing so claimed Israel’s first ever medal at the event.
Winning the half lightweight U66 kg category at the Championships, which are being held in Astana, Kazakhstan, the 23-year-old, who’s ranked 23rd in the world, beat Tomorkholg Debadig with just five seconds on the clock.
