Graffiti in east London branding the UK a “Zionist police state” is being investigated by police.

The daubing appeared on Rothbury Road near the Queen’s Yard in Hackney Wick, by the Olympic Park.

It was reported by concerned Jewish local resident, Martin Sugarman.

Police said it is “aware of it and contacted the council to get it removed as a matter of urgency.”

No arrests have been made.

Martin Sugarman said he was “horrified at such a crude antisemitic trope being used”, branding it “shocking and insulting”.
