Under the guidance of an inspirational and forward-thinking clergy team, alongside an energetic lay-leadership, our synagogue membership has enjoyed steady growth over the past decade, creating one of the country’s most vibrant Reform communities. We are seeking new members to join our team.
We are seeking an outstanding professional to work as our Operations Director. This person will provide operational leadership and effective management of FRS staff, finances and facilities. As part of the Senior Professional Team, this person will oversee the delivery of the strategic objectives of FRS. Critical to the role is the ability to ensure strong relationships are developed with synagogue members and other professionals. This person should have significant management experience, including project management and the ability to successfully deliver on a wide area of responsibilities in a fast paced environment. This is a full time post with evening and weekend work.

Pioneering
In the first collaboration between media outlets from different faiths, Jewish News worked with British Muslim TV and Church Times to produce a list of young activists leading the way on interfaith understanding.
Campaigning
Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
