Olim League announce new cup sponsors

NEWOLIMOlim Football have joined forces with a leading team organising software after announcing the Cup will this year be sponsored by the leaders in amateur sports management, Teamsnap.

Managers from the Olim league have been using Teamsnap for the last three seasons and following a great start to the 2013/14 season, made the decision to have Teamsnap as the first ever sponsor of the Olim cup. The cup will feature nine teams from across the country, who will compete for a place in the final which is scheduled for the end of April.

Thanks to Teamsnap the final will take place in a stadium, with medals, new footballs and many other contributions that will create the perfect atmosphere for this end of season event. Winners of the final will be presented with champagne, wine, medals and a brand new set of Teamsnap kits which will add to the already fierce competitiveness that surrounds this trophy.

This year Teamsnap have added Scoreboard Tap to their features which we hope to use for our Final game. Scoreboard Tap is an App that enables live online commentary for Amateur games, allowing users to follow live coverage of the game from their computer or smartphone.

A spokesman for the Olim Football league commented on the sponsorship, saying: “This is a great opportunity for Olim Football and Teamsnap to increase exposure and continue to work on our growing partnership. Our league prides itself on being a highly competitive league featuring players from all over the world and we are grateful to Teamsnap for taking our cup competition to the next level.”

Teamsnap which currently has over 5 million users, is an online software that allows amateur sports teams to organize all aspects of their teams with an easy to use web service that also includes an App for smartphones. Last year, Olim Football was featured in the Teamsnap press release to show the success and impact the software has brought to the Olim league.
