Media Sales Executive

London - £20/22k Annual basic plus commission

Leading London based media company (Stratford City – London).

Square Rock is committed to delivering high quality, precisely-targeted publications to a discerning, influential and affluent audience.

Since 2010 Square Rock Ltd has been working with National Geographic to distribute the German- language publication Das Erbe Unserer Welt, or Heritage of Our WorldTM (content World Heritage Destinations, travel products, luxury goods, green and sustainability) to 87,000 subscribers.

Square Rock’s other activities include producing high-quality leaflets, brochures, supplements and magazines for a diverse international client base.

We can provide complete design and advertising media sales services and develop a full content strategy in print or using digital technology.

Through our affiliate organisations, Square Rock Images and Square Rock Events, we work hand-in- glove with some of the finest photographers to promote and distribute their work.

Job Profile – Hard but rewarding

 

The Media Sales Exec will be responsible for selling ad space to clients, throughout a wide range of mediums including print and digital.

If successful, the candidate will be given a managerial role.

This is a good opportunity for experienced Media Sales professionals to add value and help shape the role of the company.

You will be a pivotal hire and the role will enable you to have your say and help grow the business, by actively contributing to the developing creative mind-set within Square Rock.

Candidate Profile

 

We are looking for an experienced proactive salesperson with a solid advertising sales background.

The successful candidate will have media sales experience in both print and online.

In this role you will be expected to develop and source your own leads, up-sell and manage your own clients, identify revenue channels for new clients.

Whilst this is initially entirely a phone based role, you may, based on your success be expected to attend seminars, be involved in arranging events with the possibility for overseas travel.

Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
