Israel’s president sends gift to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to mark the Royal birth
Israel’s president Reuven Rivlin has sent the Royal Family a gift to mark the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s second child.
The president sent William and Kate a pink dress, with ‘from Israel with love’ sewn onto it, to mark the birth of princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
Pinned onto the dress is a brooch with a charm of a heart and a Hamsa (a hand, often seen to represent blessings power and strength).
In addition to the dress, the president sent a warm letter, also signed by his wife Nechama, which said: “On behalf of ourselves and the citizens of the State of Israel, please allow us to offer our congratulations and good wishes on the birth of your Majesty’s great granddaughter, the new baby princess, to you and to all the members of the royal family.”
