Warsaw Ghetto Uprising’s 80th anniversary marked with daffodils, 3 presidents and an 11th commandment against ‘indifference’
Roughly 13,000 Jews were were burnt alive or suffocated as the Nazis burnt down the ghetto to quell the rebellion, sending the remaining some 50,000 Jews to be murdered further east.
