Israel’s men and women sailing teams got heir 470 Class campaigns underway on Wednesday evening.

Taking part in the first of ten races – with the top ten then progressing to the medal race, Eyal Levin and Dan Froyliche sit overall in 10th place after claiming 7th and 15th place finishes in the first two races.

In the women’s competition, Gil Cohen at the helm and Nina Amir – the country’s youngest athlete at 17 years of age – as the crew, sit in 17th place after their first two race, having finished the first in 21st and second in 9th.
