The adoption services team from the Jewish community’s largest children’s charity this week began life as part of a merged entity.

After 23 years of in-house provision, Norwood’s adoption service has been taken on by Coram, a charity with a 275-year history.

The launch of Coram Adoption North London in Finchley was hailed as the right move.

“Coram has an exemplary record and outstanding reputation in the adoption sector,” said Norwood chief executive Elaine Kerr.
