GB’s wait for a gold medal win in the open football competition – stretching back to 1961 – will have to wait at least another four years after Jake Rozhansky’s hat-trick saw off GB, who played the majority of the match with ten men following Adam Bolle’s 22nd minute sending-off

GOAL – OPEN FOOTBALL FINAL – GB 0 USA 3

USA surely secure gold with a third goal, 12 minutes from time as Jake Rozhansky completes his hat-trick

USA double their lead in the 51st minute with a second strike of the evening from Jake Rozhansky – this time with a stunning long-range strike

The Open female football team secured a rarity for a GB football team – a penalty shoot-out win. Level against Argentina at 2-2, the side prevailed on penalties – winning 5-4

U16 side beaten 1-0, the South Americans scoring the decisive goal in the first half
