GOALKEEPER
Gideon Tiano (Straw Hat Pirates) – Man-of-the-match performance, made some incredible saves especially towards the end proving how much of an asset he is
DEFENDERS:
Martin Smulovitch (Real Hendon) – His usual solid self at the back, but also popped up with two goals – including a stunning overhead kick goal of the week contender
Harry Salter (Bayern Mincha) – Gave a commanding performance at the back, cleared everything that came into his path from start to finish
Avi Mocton (Faithfold A) – Described as being a beast at the back, won every battle and drove the team forward after winning it
Tom Cantor (Oakwood A) – Making his debut for the O’s, was brilliant at centre-half alongside Dale Bradman
MIDFIELDERS:
Josh Gorb (Hertswood Vale) – Showed desire, won every single header and challenge that he was presented with and got on the scoresheet
Nick Phillips (Mill Hill Dons) – A real captain’s performance, a true leader in the middle of the park, didn’t stop running and claimed an assist
Liam Stein (NL Raiders C) – Brilliant performance in the middle of the park for Raiders, capped off display by scoring twice
Svi Freedman (Los Blancos) – Superb in midfield for the Blancos boys, his performance rewarded by two goals
STRIKERS:
Reiss Mogilner (Brady Maccabi) – Brady’s prolific scorer started the new season as he finished the old – bagging in more goals, this time helping himself to a hat-trick
Josh Harris (Hendon United Sports) – An imperious performance, held the ball up brilliantly and scored two goals, one of which was very special

Pioneering
In the first collaboration between media outlets from different faiths, Jewish News worked with British Muslim TV and Church Times to produce a list of young activists leading the way on interfaith understanding.
Campaigning
Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
