Yshai Oliel was knocked out of the boys’ tournament at the French Open on Wednesday afternoon.

Up against the eighth seed, Uzbekistan’s Djurabeck Karimov, the Israeli won the first set on a tie-break, but lost the second and third 6-2.

Oliel is though still involved in action in Paris, and later on Wednesday, was due to begin his doubles campaign.

Teaming up with Czech Patrik Rikl, they take on the sixth seeds, Australian Alexei Popyrin and China’s Yibing Wu.
